Met dit ontwerp won BIG architects de internationale wedstrijd voor de nieuwe nationale bibliotheek in Astana ( Kazakhstan ). Het nam het op tegen werelds grootste architectenbureaus zoals die van Lord Norman Foster en Zaha Hadid.
